Looking for puppies? We have them - these gorgeous little guys are learning the ropes .... they're learning to interact with other puppies and with the older dogs. They're responding to their names, and most importantly, being exposed to the every day happenings that they will meet when they come join YOUR family.
RUF CREEK's PUPPY POLICY ......
We normally do not pull puppies younger than 12 weeks because they need to be vetted and carefully watched so they do not come down with the various illnesses that most puppies face. All of our puppies are available for adoption; but we require that they be with us here at the Ranch for a full 2-weeks after they've come from the shelter. This way, we can be sure that they've had the shots they need, as well as deworming and any medications they might need.
OK - LET'S MEET THE PUPPIES!!!!

The adoption agreement states that the Ranch cannot guarantee the health of our puppies other than them having received their puppy shots and deworming, and having been carefully monitored for 2 weeks after they've been pulled from the shelter. If, during the first 2 weeks after you've adopted a puppy, it becomes sick, you can either return it to the ranch for a refund of your adoption fee, exchange it for another dog, or have it treated by your vet at your own expense.

This little "runt" is GG (short for Goofy Girl). She and her sister survived an upper respiratory infection and are now healthy and ready to move on to their forever families! Her sister is a full 5 pounds heavier, and almost twice her size!! They're litter/puppy pad trained, have had all of their shots and deworming. Come meet them! I'll bet you take one home.

Meet Lacey! She is about 8 months old, and the daughter of a yellow lab mix mom and a purebred chocolate lab daddy! Lacey has already had 2 rounds of puppy shots, and deworming. She is quiet and shy and looking for a family to take her home and love her!
She's very respectful of the older dogs, and is doing well with potty training.
Rebel is an 8-10 week old chocolate lab mix boy who was surrendered by his owner to a very high-kill shelter. He's current on all age-appropriate shots and deworming, very very social, and loves to be held and cuddled. Rebel is currently living in foster care with two older dogs. If you'd like to meet Rebel, contact Susan at (919) 738-5932
Onyx (pictured) is a 3-month old lab/pointer mix who was abandoned at the shelter by another rescue group that never came to get them. She is a sweet girl who loves belly rubs and being with people. Gets along great with the other dogs and will come back to you with a whistle. Current on age appropriate shots and deworming. Her sister Ebony just got adopted, and Onyx is now all alone! Come meet her ...
EBONY - adopted! Thanks, Jesse and Mary!
ADOPTION PENDING
Josie (and her sister Jordan) were found in a ditch alongside a busy road. A good samaritan took them in and contacted the Ranch about them. The girls are about 5 months old, current on all shots and deworming, mostly housebroken and are crate trained. They love to play and enjoy being with their people.
Kizzie (darker) and her sister Lizzie were rescued from a very high-kill shelter in rural NC. The girls are about 12-14 weeks old, current on age-appropriate shots and deworming, and absolutely loveable little angels. They like to play (with each other and with the other puppies). We're working on housebreaking, and they're beginning to respond when called. Come meet them!!
(Lizzie is shown running and Kizzie has the ball)
"Taz" is about 7 months old, spayed, current on all shots and deworming. She's a lab/cattle-dog mix who is absolutely fabulous on a leash. She LOVES kids, and loves being the center of attention. Mostly housebroken, she's crate trained and ready to go. She is an energetic puppy who wants to please, so she will do best in a home with previous dog experience.
Harley is about 12-14 weeks old. He is current on all age-appropriate shots and deworming and is working on his house manners. He loves his crate, and loves to play and give kisses. He's very close to being a pure-blooded lab - this picture doesn't do him justice! Come meet Harley.
