Meet JOEY.  This 1-year old was found wandering the streets of Nashville, NC, and picked up as a stray by animal control.  A shelter favorite, he was there for several weeks before relocating to the Ranch.  He's current on his shots and deworming, and is scheduled for neuter surgery on January 17th.  He has a lot of energy, but it's controlled and he always comes back when called.  A fenced yard is preferred for Joey since he does like to run.  He's gentle and kind and needs a family to love him.- 

 This handsome young man is DAVIS.  He's been through a lot in his short life - isn't it time for that to change?  He's about 1 year old, already neutered, HW negative, current on all shots and deworming.  He's a medium sized dog, about 45 lbs and 30".  He's friendly and eager to please and really good on a leash.  Come meet Davis, and let's try to show him that the rest of his life is going to be GREAT!!!

   CALEB is a gentle giant who has so much love to give.  He's a lab/newfie mix, currently about 80 lbs (needs to put on some weight), current on all shots and deworming.  Caleb tested positive for heartworms, and has already begun his oral treatments.  He is a sweetheart who gets along fabulously with the other Ranch Residents.  Come meet Caleb - you'll be happy you did!

 King is a 4-year old terrier/basenji/shiba inu? mix male who was surrendered to the shelter with his buddy, Bear.  He gets along with other dogs, is very good on a leash and has learned to come when called off-leash.  He's current on all shots and deworming.  His heartworm test came back a light positive, but he's being treated and will soon be as good as new!  He's a perfect apartment dog - he weighs only about 30-35 lbs.

MANDY is a sweet, 1 year old lab/hound mix girl who had a litter of pups in the shelter and was kept alive just to nurse them until they were picked up by another rescue.  We just couldn't let her be put down!  She's a medium sized dog, about 40 lbs, very affectionate, comes when called, walks nicely on leash.  Gets along with other dogs; is a bit bossy with puppies (no surprise there!).  She's current on  all shots and deworming and will be spayed in the next couple of weeks.  Her heartworm test came back positive, but she's currently being treated orally and should be good as new when tested next year.
