9. ADOPTION FEES You agree to pay the adoption fee of $250.00 . If the dog has not been spayed or neutered, you agree to pay an additional deposit of $50.00 which will be refunded to you when you provide proof of spay or neutering.

10. We recommend spay/neuter at 4 months of age, when the dog will receive its first rabies shot. Heartworm preventative should also be started at this time.
11. You understand that adopting a dog is a commitment to care for it for the dog’s lifetime, which can exceed 15 years, and that such care can, at times be expensive. * YES * NO

You understand that some canine health problems are not detectable, especially in young puppies, and Ruf Creek Ranch and/or Art and Joy Frannicola make no guarantees about the disposition or total health of the dog you are adopting, other than to provide a history of vaccinations and/or deworming. You understand that if any unknown health problems arise within 7 days of adoption, you may return the puppy and receive a full refund of your adoption fee, or to have the puppy treated at your expense. * YES * NO
