ARJO Breeders is a small, family owned and operated facility specializing in the breeding of reining and performance horses. We believe in keeping the operation small, but producing quality babies, each of whom has the potential to be a world-class competitor.
We
have been involved in showing American Quarter
Horses
for the better part of 20 years, and have been involved in reining and
the National Reining Horse Association for the past 10 years. Our broodmare
band, although small, is comprised of individuals with stellar show records
in their respective events. Two are multiple bronze-winning mares who
have been in the NRHA Top Ten standings (one in Limited Non Pro and one
in the Open division), one of these mares was qualified for the 1999 USET
Reining Championships and has earned her NRHA Silver Certificate, and
the other has earned her NRHA Gold Certificate. The third mare, although
not shown in NRHA events, has earned over $2,500 in the cattle events:
penning, sorting, non-sanctioned cow horse classes. She was a member of
both the Championship and Reserve Championship teams of the U.S.T.P.A.'s
1995 Eastern States Classic. We carefully choose the stallions we breed
to, based on their records, pedigrees and demeanors.

We
have spent a lot of time, both in the saddle and behind the scenes, bringing
ARJO Breeders' program to a level where we are proud to offer our babies
for your consideration. We give them daily attention - they are all halter
and lead broke, have had their feet handled, have been introduced to clippers,
and have all been trailered. They are truly well-mannered individuals
who are eager to learn and eager to please.
All of the babies are nominated to the Atlantic Breeders Incentive Program (ABI), as well as to the National Reining Breeders' Classic (NRBC) . We are proud members of the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA), United States Equestrian Team (USET), American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA), American Paint Horse Association (APHA), Eastern Pennsylvania Reining Horse Association (EPRHA), and Southeast Reining Horse Association (SERHA).
